Welcome to PrimeTime Sports 7 on 7 Football - 2009

2008 Recap
PrimeTime Sports had an outstanding year of 7 on 7 Tournaments in 2007 as we hosted nearly 200 teams in 24 tournaments across the state of Texas. Congratulations to the Lake Travis Cavaliers (9th Grade Division), the Stephenville Yellow Jackets (8th Grade Division), and the Arlington Vikings (7th Grade Division) for their outstanding performances in the Tournament of Champions, and thanks to all of the teams that competed in PrimeTime Sports 7 on 7 Tournaments in 2008.

2009 Overview
The 7 on 7 passing game is growing rapidly across the United States as an opportunity for skill-position football players to work on their football skills in the off season. PrimeTime Sports is the leader in providing the highest quality 7 on 7 events for youth football players. With 7 on 7 football, youth football players continue enhancing their skills through the many repetitions available in a fast-paced passing game gaining valuable experience during the spring and summer. PrimeTime Sports follows a school-based system for all 7 on 7 teams which helps create team chemistry between quarterbacks, receivers, and running backs and the linebackers, cornerbacks, and safeties, better preparing them for their fall tackle season.

During the 2008 NCAA football season there were 22 quarterbacks from Texas that started for Division-I football programs across the country, which represents a significant expansion over prior years. Much of the recent proliferation of quarterbacks at the Division-I Level can be attributed to the impact of the rise of 7 on 7 football in the state of Texas over the last 10 years. PrimeTime Sports continues to participate in this development process by offering invitational tournaments and qualifier tournaments for the Tournament of Champions for teams throughout the state of Texas. PrimeTime Sports is excited to announce that, once again, we will provide a full schedule of 7 on 7 Tournaments in 2009. We anticipate that 2009 will feature our biggest slate of 7 on 7 Tournaments, yet.

We are also pleased to announce that we are enhancing our 7 on 7 events by providing 7 on 7 leagues spanning the 4 weekends in February for the first time. Our leagues will allow teams to get plenty of developmental playing experience at an even better value than our tournaments, with an 8 game schedule, played over the 4 Saturdays in February for the low price of $500! All games will continue to be officiated by top-quality certified officials and provide the same quality playing experience to your teams that we provide at our tournaments, including working with your team to resolve scheduling difficulties. We are committed to helping your team develop, learn and grow through our 7 on 7 events and we look forward to seeing your team at our leagues and tournaments in 2009!

Why Play in a PrimeTime Sports 7 on 7 Tournament?
Here are a few things that set us apart from other tournament providers:

  • Our tournaments have a 3 game guarantee, with most teams playing 4 to 5 games.
  • We only employ officials certified by the state for football. Many have experience refereeing 7 on 7 either with us or through state qualifiers.
  • We offer online registration, schedules, and results.
  • We offer a multi-tournament discount.
  • There is always someone from our management team present at the tournament site - you'll never hear it's the local director's problem.

While some tournaments use non-certified officials to reduce costs, we strongly feel that quality officials play an important role in having a smooth and successful 7 on 7 Tournament.

If you would like more information regarding 7 on 7 Football with PrimeTime Sports, or if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact the Football Office either at football@primetimesportz.com or (972) 355 - 3788 x2.
